It is truly incredible how quickly that first year of life flies by and how much development takes place in those 12 short months. It seems to be faster with each additional child. I had a lot of fun picking out the outfit and props for my daughter Charlotte's one year session. Baking the cake, taking the pictures, and being mommy for this shoot was hard work, but worth all the effort. Baby's first milestones are so fleeting and so special and the milestone session photos are something to cherish forever. My baby girl had no interest in her smash cake, but she had fun exploring her surroundings on this beautiful evening during golden hour. I'm looking forward to watching Charlotte grow and develop over this next year, but I'd like to bottle up her deliciousness as she is right now.
