It's amazing how different the same location can look during different seasons. I loved the look of the golden straw illuminated in the sunset and the muted tones in the background that made Aanya's dark eyes pop. This little one was as happy as can be. She enjoyed playing in the grass and watching us dance but wasn't so sure about that cake. It was a bit of a hike to climb to the top of this hill for Aanya's session, but we were rewarded with a soft, glowing sunset and warm breeze. Aanya's mother and I agreed that someday Aanya will be very thankful to have these beautiful outdoor portraits with sweeping California views of her hometown. So thankful to be able to document this momentous milestone for this sweet family!
