Early evening sessions during golden hour are usually my favorite, but that timing does not always work well for babies who typically go to bed well before the sun, especially during the summer. Morning light works well for sessions too, and ultimately, happy babies make for better photos. Shana and I agreed on History Park on a Sunday morning for Asher's first photo session, and we had the whole park to ourselves. If you've never been to History Park, it's a great venue for photos with a slightly more urban look. There are a wide variety of backgrounds available, and it's a fun place for little ones to explore. I think Asher's favorite part was doing airplane's in his parents' arms and playing with the grass.
